Colonial Spanish Horses from Baca Chica Farm

In addition to acting as program manager of the Choctaw Indian Pony Conservation Program, Stephanie Lockhart has formed a unique partnership with the Baca family from La Costancia, New Mexico, in an effort to promote the historic and versatile Colonial Spanish Horse. She is pleased to announce the arrival of young prospects for sale from her own farm in Morrisville, VT. Being the only source of Colonial Spanish horses in the Northeast, these beautiful young horses will catch the attention of any horse enthusiast. The horses selected for sale represent a lifelong commitment of the Baca family. This unique strain is one of three different types of Colonial Spanish horse, known as the southwestern type. Known for their stamina, willingness, and  intelligence, the Baca horses are a pleasure to work with. Using natural training methods, the horses  are started gently and correctly. Their kind personalities and athletic abilities will prove to be suitable for any discipline.
